Petites "Passion Orange"

Bright colors make me feel happy!!! This color is perfect for spring or summer. Its bright and cheerful, and really pops. I believe this color can compliment any skin tone.

The application was smooth and had good coverage. A little bit of the nail is still shown, but it hides it pretty well.

This nail color is Passion Orange, from Petites. I bought it at Walmart for about $3.
In natural/outdoor light, (even in some artificial lighting), the color appears to be a tutti frutti color. In other artificial lighting, it appears more orangey.

Fix Me?

Greetings!

While going through my nail polish collection, I noticed that two of my polishes were sticky, clumpy and were not in its original consistency.

To fix this problem, I used SuperNail Nail Polish Thinner. I bought this at my local beauty supply store for about two dollars.

The directions say to use only a few drops, but in the condition that these polishes were in, I needed to put a lot more in. Once it was inside the polish bottle, I let it sit for a couple of seconds before shaking the bottle vigorously. I continued pouring in some of the thinner until I could hear the beads in the nail polish bottle move around freely.

And here is the finished product! It worked great.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure "Red Zin"

Today I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure "Red Zin". To learn more about Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, visit Sally Hansen or go to my blog Sally Hansen Complete Manicure "I Pink I Can", (where you can read about how the nail polish applies.)

It is a beautiful dark red wine color that I believe can compliment any skin tone. I applied 3 coats because I wanted to give it a slightly fuller coverage. This nail polish has a warm, sexy feel to it.

This time, I took three different pictures:

Essie "Go Overboard"

Ahoy Matey!

Essie's nail color Go Overboard reminds me of being in a boat with the beautiful ocean surrounding me. I saw this color on my friend and fell in love with it! I just HAD to buy it. It will take me some getting used to because I don't normally wear dark colors on my nails (I usually wear pinks or nude colors, so this is different indeed), but i LOVE it.

The application was smooth and dried somewhat quick. However, I still have to be careful a few hours after application so that I don't end up with a smudge or a gash. The color is like a dark teal, but has more hints of blue then green.

I bought this nail polish at Walgreens for $8, but I sadly realized I could have gotten it at Walmart for $7.75. (Not much of a difference, but every cent counts!)
